Grindery has successfully initiated another 70,000 token streams via Sablier, delivering NFTs that will unlock and distribute the second part of GX tokens to participants of Community Sale 1 and 2. This marks the completion of a major milestone in the project's TGE.
While the rollout is a significant achievement, it's also acknowledged that the process and experience can be complex. There are still improvements to be made, and user interface upgrades are underway. In the meantime, here’s a breakdown to help users better understand what’s happening with their GX tokens, NFTs, and wallet experience.
🔍 Why Users Are Seeing Multiple NFTs
Users who participated in the G1 to GX exchange may now notice multiple NFTs in their Grindery wallet. The number varies depending on how and when users engaged with the platform:
- Long-time participants typically have four NFTs.
- Recent participants generally have two.
Each NFT represents a token stream linked to specific sale phases and vesting conditions.
🧩 How the System Works
Grindery uses Sablier to deliver GX token streams via NFTs. Each NFT unlocks a specific portion of a user's GX allocation over time. Users can view their NFTs in the “NFT” tab of the Grindery wallet, and click each one to see detailed streaming information.
Here’s why most users have multiple NFTs:
- Community Sale 1 and Community Sale 2 had different token vesting conditions.
- For each sale, tokens were split into two groups:
- 8% unlocked at TGE
- 92% streamed over time after a cliff
This results in four NFTs for users who participated in both sales.
đź“… Key Dates and Unlock Structure
- TGE Unlock (8%): Already distributed and claimable.
- Remaining 92%: Begins unlocking on June 12, with linear vesting over 14 months for Sale 1 and a slightly shorter period for Sale 2.
This vesting structure was chosen to manage high volume and maintain technical feasibility while honoring the commitment to all contributors.
🧠Understanding the GX Token Detail Page
Each NFT corresponds to a token stream, and users can view these streams in the GX token detail page within the wallet. Clicking into a stream or NFT provides more information, including:
- Start time
- Total amount
- Streaming progress
Please note: Sablier does not currently display cliff periods, which may add to user confusion. Efforts are ongoing to improve clarity within the Grindery wallet interface.
🔄 Upcoming Improvements
The Grindery team has already implemented updates to the GX token page and is planning two to three more UX iterations in the coming weeks. The goal is to provide clearer, more intuitive visuals and explanations, ensuring all users—team members and community alike—can easily track and understand their token streams.
đź’¬ Final Thoughts
The delivery of GX token streams marks a major milestone in the evolution of the Grindery platform. While the infrastructure is solid, the user experience is still being refined. Community feedback remains invaluable as the team works to improve clarity, fix remaining bugs, and enhance the overall product.
Users are encouraged to stay patient and engaged as Grindery continues to roll out improvements and new features across the ecosystem.
